Robert E. (Bob) Tesch, President
Mr. Tesch began his career with a Houston, Texas real estate investment firm after college in 1971. His early training was concentrated most heavily on acquisitions and sales of commercial land sites. In 1975 he formed Tesch/Ramsey, Inc., a commercial brokerage firm which handled investment acquisitions and sales of Tesch owned properties and provided commercial brokerage services to the public. In 1980 his focus evolved into land use planning, entitlements and commercial development. In 1984 he re-located his business to Austin, Texas and expanded its real estate development component.
Mr. Tesch is President and owner of Tesch & Associates, Inc., a real estate investment/development company which concentrates its activities in Central Texas with heavy emphasis in the rapidly growing area of Western Williamson County. Under his leadership the company enjoys an excellent reputation as a highly regarded land development firm. Tesch & Associates is currently working to bring needed office condominiums, restaurants, hotels, and retail to the burgeoning Cedar Park, Texas market. In addition, Tesch & Associates is directing the planning and development of Creekside Park Estates, a planned up-scale single family gated community in Cedar Park.
A civic and industry leader, Mr. Tesch has been called upon by the Williamson County Commissioner’s Court, the City Council of Cedar Park, Southwestern University and most recently, Governor Rick Perry to serve in various community service leadership positions. In January 2003 Governor Perry appointed him to serve as Chairman of Texas’ first Regional Mobility Authority. Since that time, the Authority’s first turnpike project (US 183A) was completed in March 2007 on-time and on budget. Several other Central Texas turnpike projects are planned for the immediate future by the Authority. Governor Perry re-appointed Mr. Tesch to the Authority board in January 2007 where he is currently serving his sixth year as the Authority’s Chairman.
Mr. Tesch is a veteran of the United States Navy, graduate of the University of Texas, member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, Austin Area Research Organization, board of visitors of Southwestern University and St. Austin’s Catholic Church.
